Hail, listeners! We’re bound for Viking lands on this week’s Dragon’s Demize, to review the 2017 Kennerspiel des Jahres nominee Raiders of the North Sea. This worker placement game has you building up your supplies and crew before going out to raid the English countryside. Your raids will bring you plunder and victory points, but beware the Valkyries who will kill your crew. The Fields of Fame and Hall of Heroes each add some great mechanics as well, so of course we cover those.

We’re extremely excited to announce that we have been promoted to Affiliates on Twitch! Thank you so much to all of the people who join us for our livestreams on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you haven’t already, check us out at twitch.tv/dragonsdemize. You can follow us to get notifications when we go live, or subscribe for access to special emotes and some behind-the-scenes content.

As usual, we also talk about the games we’ve been playing lately. Greg tried out the automa variant of our recent favorite Wingspan, and Jakub brings us an update from his ongoing game of Betrayal Legacy.

Thank you as always to O Abnormal and Agata Poniatowski for the artwork and Strangelette for the music. If you enjoyed this episode and would like to support Dragon’s Demize, please consider joining us on Patreon. You can also follow us on FacebookTwitter, Instagram, and Discord. Finally, all of our streams, vlogs, and other video content are available on our Youtube channel.
