Hello listeners, and welcome to the third installment of our Board Game Glossary! Today we’re talking about social games, games which are all about heavy player interaction and usually best with large numbers. This is also the first time we break things out into subcategories. In this case, we’ve got Hidden Identity, Restricted Communication, and Party games. Give the episode a listen to see what we think are the essential elements of each of these types of social games. And if you haven’t already listened to the other episodes in this series, you can check them out as well!

For What We’ve Been Playing, we discuss the newest games from Red Raven: Ancient World, along with the familiar games Pyramid’s Deadline, Codenames, and Quiddler.

This is also the time when we announce we’re officially going to Origins! If you’re going to be there, hit us up. We’d love to hang out, and we’ll probably have t-shirts!

Thank you as always to O Abnormal and Agata Poniatowski for the artwork and Strangelette for the music.
