Hello listeners, and welcome back to Dragon’s Demize. This week, we’re reviewing one of Jakub’s personal favorite games: Dead of Winter.
In Dead of Winter, players each control multiple survivors, and attempt to fulfill public and secret objectives. These secret objectives often require you to stockpile resources, which can create tension among the survivors. Even more interesting, there is a chance for one player to be a betrayer, and actively sabotage the group. While the zombie theme is widely regarded as overused in board games, Dead of Winter does a great job of adding a unique and enjoyable twist with these mechanics. Check out our review for a more in depth analysis!
Thank you as always to Agata Poniatowski for the Artwork and Strangelette for the music.
