Podcast 47 – Codenames

Hello agents. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to listen to this week’s podcast about Codenames. This simple word-association game has picked up a huge following since its release just two years ago. Since then, it has sparked the creation of two standalone variations: Codenames Deep Undercover, full of raunchy and inappropriate words, and Codenames Pictures, which uses surreal images instead of words. We hope you enjoy this episode and are are encouraged to pick it up yourself, if you haven’t already.

Podcast 46 – New Bedford

This week on Dragon’s Demize, we review New Bedford, the unexpectedly compelling game about 19th century whaling. With a solid core of worker placement and resource management and meticulously researched flavor, New Bedford is well worth picking up. We also discuss what we’ve been playing lately, including Time Stories, Fairy Tale, and Star Wars Rebellion.

Podcast 45 – Inis

Welcome back to Dragon’s Demize! It’s been a while since our last update, but we’re excited to kick off the new year with one of our favorite new games: Inis. This territory-control game with heavy Celtic themes is both gorgeous and fun to play, so we hope you’re encouraged to check it out after our review. We also bring you updates on what we’ve been playing, including Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle, Phase, and Bards Dispense Profanity.
